City Governance in Northern Europe – New JLGC Directory

JLGC has long developed research on trend mapping around the governance and economic profiles of leading European cities, as part of its member offer for city and regional authorities in Japan.

Our latest publication (in English) surveys the capital city governments of JLGC’s responsible countries in Northern Europe and breaks down by type the system of city executive, representation on city councils (reflecting several recent elections), city marketing activities, business leadership and tech promotion.

This follows our past directories on city networking activity in European capitals and factsheets on urban issues such as night-time economy governance and promotion.

The Directory was prepared with the kind assistance of the city governments covered in our survey.
