Kobe Mayor participates in second U7 Mayors Summit

The U7 Mayors Summit, held online on May 3, brought together high-level representatives of the German G7 Presidency with representatives of national city associations and international city networks, as well as mayors from across the G7, including Kobe City Mayor Kizō Hisamoto, President of Japan’s Designated City Mayors Association.

This follows the inaugural summit, held in June 2021 as part of the UK G7 Presidency and attended by Yokohama City on behalf of the association.
