Local environment policy and supporting eco-tech business
Applications are now open for the Japan Local Government Centre’s Japan Study Tour 2012. The tour aims to foster a deeper understanding of Japan’s system of local government as well as encourage the exchange of ideas and information. Participants take part in exchange activities and site visits structured around the tour’s environmental technology business theme.
The thought provoking visits to public sector organisations highlighted the benefit of international exchange as we were able to see how Japanese local government is attempting to overcome many of the challenges we face here in the UK.
