Limited only to original manga that\nhas not been previously submitted or published.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>\uff3bNumber of manuscript pages per submitted manga\uff3d<\/strong><br> General category: Around 4-24 pages.<br> 1-4 panel manga category: One story per page (up to 16 pages).<br> <br> \u2460 In the general category, use B4 size manga paper or Kent paper.<br> For digital submissions, entries must be in B4 manuscript size with an image quality of 600dpi or more.<br> \u2461 The 1-4 panel manga category will accept any B4 size white paper (copy paper, drawing paper, manga manuscript paper etc.).<br> Please refer to the 4-panel manga template on our homepage. (Color is permitted in the 1-4 panel manga category)<br> 1-3 panel manga can be drawn to fit the scaling of the 4-panel manga category or in an easy-to-draw size.<br> Please submit only one 1-4 panel manga per page.<br> Panel direction will be up to the artist per page per submission.<br> For digital submissions, entries must be in B4 manuscript size with an image quality of 600dpi or more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Length of one 4-panel manga: 270mm<br> Width of one page of two 4-panel manga: 180mm<br> Size of one panel: 58mm long x 85mm wide<br> Size of each story&#8217;s title box: 18mm long x 85mm wide<br> <br> <strong>\uff3bSubmitted Manga\uff3d<\/strong><br> 1)Traditional paper submissions<br> Please draw upon the front side of a blank sheet of paper in India ink,<br> drawing ink, or black pen, and send it on without folding the paper.<br> Drawings in pencil, light Japanese ink, and ink in colours other than black will not be accepted.<br> (Color is permitted in the 1-4 panel manga category)<br> However, please write titles and any text in pencil.<br> If the text will go over the image (outside of speech bubbles),<br> please attach tracing paper to your manga and fill in the lines upon it in pencil.<br> Make sure to write, in pencil, the page numbers in the margin of your drafts.<br> 2)Digital submissions<br> Do not use anything other than black.<br> Please submit your digital submissions online via the form on the official website or mail an enclosed CD-R or DVD-R with the manga files on it, as well as a version available to print.<br> The files must include a JPG or PDF file of your artwork with all the text in place,<br> as well as a PSD or TIFF file without the text.<br> (Color is permitted in the 1-4 panel manga category)<br> <br> <br> \uff3bLanguage of submissions\uff3d<br> Submissions will be accepted in Japanese, English, French, and Chinese.<br> *If you can have your draft translated into Japanese, we ask that you include a Japanese translation.<br> <br> \uff3bReturn of submissions\uff3d<br> \u2460 If you would like your submissions returned to you after the contest; please mark &#8220;yes&#8221; on the application form and include a self-addressed envelope with appropriate postage along with your submissions.<br> If a self-addressed envelope is not included with your submission, we will not be able to return your drafts.<br> \u2461 If you do not wish to have your submissions returned; please mark &#8220;no&#8221; in the return of drafts section of the application form and do not include an envelope or stamps with your draft.<br> \u2462 We will not be returning submissions from overseas.
