Featured in March&#8217;s issue of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.jlgc.org.uk\/en\/pdfs\/ML70_2010_Mar.pdf#page=8\">&#8216;Myriad Leaves&#8217;<\/a>, the exhibition celebrates its 100th anniversary this year.<\/p>\n<p>According to the Japan Foundation website <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jpf.org.uk\/whatson.php#241\">events page<\/a>, the lecture will bring together a range of experts in order to place the event in its proper historical context:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Professor Ian Nish will provide a general introduction; followed by Professor Kimio Miyatake of Hokkaido University, who will discuss the Ainu village included in the exhibition; Dr Meri Arichi<strong> <\/strong>from SOAS will focus on the display of fine arts at the exhibtion; with other experts on hand to comment including Professor Janet Hunter and Professor Toshio Watanabe.
