He also empathised the strong economic and cultural links between Wales and Japan, saying:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI am confident that Japan will overcome the trauma of recent events. \u00a0Now we also look forward to a brighter future, in which we leave behind us the shadow of recession and advance to greater prosperity.
