We will also be joined by Secretary-General Kenji Ikeda of the Council of Local Authorities for International Relations, who will update us on the current level of engagement between Japan&#8217;s regions and their global partners.<\/p>\n<p>Visuals for the reception are kindly provided by the Rochester campus of the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.investthamesgateway.com\/further-education\/university-for-the-creative-arts.html\">University for the Creative Arts<\/a> (UCA). The university\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ucreative.ac.uk\/news\/2010\/november\/japan-fashion\">exchange with the Osaka-based UEDA College of Fashion<\/a> has given students the opportunity to collaborate internationally through fashion and film. In November 2010 they jointly held a successful fashion show in London&#8217;s Spitalfields.
