Japan-UK 150
2008 was the 150th anniversary
of The Anglo-Japan Treaty of Amity and
Commerce. To celebrate this, the Japan Local Government Centre in
cooperation with other organisations held three seminars on
how the relationship between Japan and the UK has changed and
developed. Each seminar also focused on the life of a famous
Briton
whose life and works greatly influenced Japan.
